  • A: All legal notices appear in the Finger Lake Times

  • Q: What hours is the village office open?
  • A: The office hours Monday through Thursday to 8:00 – 4:00 and Fridays 8am-12pm, except for legal holidays.

  • Q: When does the Village Board of Trustees meet?
  • A: Board meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, starting at 6:00pm in the Village Hall. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings.

  • Q: When does the Village Planning Board meet?
  • A: The Village Planning Board meets the first Monday of the month at 7pm.

  • Q: When does the Zoning Board of Appeals meet?
  • A: The ZBA meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm (the board meets only when needed)

Directions

The Village of Shortsville is 2 miles south off of Exit 43 from the New York State Thruway (I-90). The city of Rochester is 25 miles to the west, and Syracuse 50 miles to the east. The county seat, in the city of Canandaigua, is 7 miles south of the village.
