Wild Water Derby

The Wild Water Derby is an event that takes place every year towards the end of April. The Wild Water Derby has been going on for years, And in April of 2025 the Derby will have reached it's 50th year anniversary!

Parks & Recreation

Shortsville has parks, Playgrounds, Dog parks, and trails free for the community.

Budd Park located on the south side of Water Street, features playground equipment, a baseball field, basketball and tennis courts. The large pavilion is perfect for family gatherings and is able to be reserved by village residents through the village office.

Jones-Blunt Park is located on the north side of Water Street, adjacent to the beautiful Canandaigua Lake Outlet. Jones-Blunt is a great spot for fishing, hiking, and family picnics.

Dog Parks located on the south and west sides of Water Street.

Field Trips Must be registered in the Shortsville Village Park Program, and turn in a permission slip/sign up sheet for field trips.
